Amalanchier lamarckii A very beautiful large shrub or small tree producing a froth of star shaped, white flowers in spring just as the pinky bronze leaves are beginning to emerge. | Catalpa bignonoides Aurea A stunning 'golden' form of the 'Indian Bean Tree', producing purplish-red new shoots that really stand out against the more mature, large, butter yellow leaves. Whilst not fully hardy in the true sense, during the winter of 10/11 we only lost the ends of the stems. Whilst it will grow in most soils it prefers a deep fertile soil in full sun.
